Can you please elaborate on the part where Experience is required ? What kind of Experience ? According to DHA Experience is stated as Hands on Clinical Experience gained by a licensed healthcare professional during a salaried employment/contractual period. It also mentions that it excludes volunteer jobs, Observership or clinical attachment. So owning your dental practice will suffice or will have to work in a hospital as a salaried employee ?

If you go straight after MDS then GP dentist.. because MDS is considered experience.. If you want to go as a specialist you need 3 years experience after MDS..

Hello Thank you for the very informative video I have a question I am a MDS Endodontist from China It is not valid in Dubai So i give exam for GP dentist. Correct? And once i get there is there any way to validate my degree or get licensed as an endodontist? Thank you once again

The mds degree from india is also not directly recognized so a specialist exam is given. It might be the same for China but not sure. So please check DHA website for confirmation about Chinese degree 🙂.

Hi sir. I'm MDS with 2 and half yrs experience. I have cleared general dentist DHA exam. But in my dental registration certificate, both BDS and MDS are mentioned. So, When I applied for eligibility letter I was asked to re-apply only after completing 3 yrs experience after MDS. My doubt is - the eligibility letter validity starts from my exam result date or from the day it is issued?

You have to study all the books to get your basic right. The books you study don't matter for clearing the exam. If you have the knowledge required to diagnose and treat the exam you can clear it. All basic concepts books are a must.
