Corrections would be greatly appreciated! I have a feeling I should have used 一下 instead of 一点 at the beginning and that I should have paused after 当然了... I totally forgot to film an outro. Oops. Also can we talk about how many times I said uhmm and mmmm. Lol.

Your videos are great, I have been using them to learn Arabic for several months. My Arabic is improving quickly by using your videos, finding speaking partners on Tandem, reading the news, and watching Sesame Street (اهلا سمسم). Your videos also inspired me to start a channel for teaching Icelandic, a language I reached a high proficiency in while living there for two years. Unfortunately Icelandic doesn't generate quite the amount of interest as Arabic so I don't have the same expectations of success as your channel. Still, it has been an enjoyable experience.

I'm from Hong Kong so we speak Cantonese here, but my mom used to teach mandarin so I'm okay fluent too. Your mandarin is quite impressive considered you have not been studying for a long time. Keep up with the good work! Btw, I love your arabic lessons, been following your channel for a few months and have learned a lot from you. Thank you!

More on the corrections, I'll do the rest minute by minute while I'm free. 1:19 可*現在*我練習口語的積極性比以前更高。 *現在 xian4 zai4 (wrong tones), Also 積極性 sounds too formal (as if you were explaining some research/studies or making a presentation on something), I'd say 我現在比以前更積極地在練習口語。Note: 的/地 is pronounced the same as 'de', while '的' is the adjective ending, '地' is the adverb ending, but a lot of people would just simply use 的 for both situations and some argue that to be incorrect. 1:37 慢慢地變得更"有"*自信*。 Add ’有' would sound more natural. *自信* zi4 xin4 (tones) 1:50 很*可惜*的是Italki已經沒有instant tutoring這個*技能*。 *可惜* ke3 xi2 (tones), Use ‘功能' (function) gong1 neng2 instead of ‘技能' (skill)。 I'm not a user of Italki so I don't know what the exact Chinese name it was for 'instant tutoring', maybe '即時家教/課程'? '即時' ji2 shi2 means 'immediate, instant, in time...' 2:09 ’便利' is correct, but I'd say '方便', sounds more colloquial.

Here come the corrections: 0:10 *而且*,如果我用一些奇怪的表達方式... >> Use *然後* ran2 hou4 instead. 「而且」is more used when it's proceeded with 「不只 bu4 zhi3、不僅 bu4 jin3...」, to mean "not only... but also..." 0:19 我學習*一門*語言的時候。 *一門* shoud be yi4 men2, watch out for the tone sandhi. 0:22 *重視* zhong4, the forth tone should be sharper and drop lower. 0:27 *正確* zheng4, the way you said it sounded like a first tone. 0:28 *用詞* ci2, give /c/ more aspiration, otherwise it sounds like /z/. 0:30 當然了,我*明知*達到完美是*不*可能的。 >>當然我*知道*達到完美是不可能的。 *明知* is used when someone had known that doing something is *wrong/unacceptable* and yet they still did it. There's a saying 「明知故犯」ming2 zhi1 gu4 fan4. and the tone on *不* wasn't clear enough. 0:42 I always try to get as close as possible. >> We can say "我還是盡量想把它學好。" Wo3 hai2 shi4 jin2 liang4 xiang3 ba3 ta1 shue2 hoa3 0:49 我花了很*多*的時間。 *多* duo1, first tone. The one you did sounded like a third tone. 0:56 *我還有在italki上幾課* >> 我還在italki上上了幾堂課。 1:00 *有很*長*的一段時間並沒有用Tandem並沒有在italki上課* >> *我有很長一段時間沒有在Tandem跟italki上上課。*, *長* chang2, second tone. 1:10 *總之* zhi1, first tone. 在練習口語上,基本上什麼都*不*做。 >> 什麼都*沒*做。 (In the past tense/perfective aspect) I'll find another time to write out other ones, gotta run now. Cheers and great job.

中文我們通常發音比較多集中在口腔,我感覺妳的中文發音偏高,像講英文的人士,鼻腔鼻音比較重,可以壓低一點會更像Local~扁一點的聲音,還有就是最難的Tones再多留意一點,這點比較難
