I definitely see a lot of improvement! I’m wondering you tend to look up to super jump, but you don’t have to! The further distance you travel with ga the higher your jump will be. And you can move anywhere far even without looking in that direction, try it out if you want :) proud of your progress xo 😊

yes i have that habit just to see where i’m going but i also sometimes don’t know whether or not i should super jump using crouch or by looking up and using jump, is it preference or are they both useful for diff things? sometimes i see high rank mercy gameplays whether they use that movement a lot(looking up before sj)

@@Pluto_GAMING99 i guess doing it without can increase your sense of the map awareness. But if it’s to look around it’s not bad so you gain more information. Sometimes I do it to reach high ground or to go to another teammate or finding more information about the placements of enemies so I know I’m safe.

a tip for new mercy movement! i like to go into easy ai games or into practice range to get movement down or practice new tricks, idk if this will help any!
@nonnegaard Жыл бұрын
why? the way i see it is if you want to practice tech and map specific spots you should do it in custom games and if you want to practice execution then you should do that in comp or qp depending on preference. you wont know if you messed up unless you die, and you wont vs easy ai. besides you should always be conscious in your games and aim to play above your abilities. every game should be practice really.

I have an alt account that I like to practice on but I also never thought of practicing in AI, maybe i should try the Hard mode? lol

@@nonnegaardits just my personal preference and works best with my lag. I do go into games and test out the movement though, so rlly its not that big of a deal. again its just my personal preference and im doing just fine with it

Bro relax I watched it it was fine 💀 I’m a high masters player so it’s approved. She’s keeping the beam on ashe, ashe got booped off bc of enemy pharah & Ashe got back up. Got nothing to do with mercy gameplay.

@@Pluto_GAMING99 with a game like overwatch habits is a bad thing. react to every situation as if you've never been in it before. this mindset took me from dia to t500 as my mechanics were always good from csgo.

@@lunalove6197 it wasnt meant to be snarky, though my tone kind of is by default. its just a mindset thing is all, i was only trying to help. also I'm a decent player myself, and even though I'm still only dia on my mercy only acc, i really just wanted to give some advice. pure muscle memory is how i used to play and it got me to dia with a LOT of grinding on dps. i started to play consciously, every input i make is intentional and is an action, not just a reaction. animals think like an algorithm. if an animal is in X situation, they do Y. they observe and react, the reaction simply being a product of whatever situation they find themselves in. humans observe, think, and act. that's what sets us apart. honestly this philosophy can and should be applied to every aspect of life, its a key part of building your emotional maturity. sorry for the big writeup lol, this line of thinking is just very dear to me as it has helped me a lot.
