Wrong. It says (2 + n) scams monthly from October to December. Also, since we CAN find out what the actual value of n is, in this case if 3(2 + n) = 16, you can simplify the eqn. to find n = 2. Hence, only 4 scams happened outside of Oct - Dec, and 4 scams happened monthly in those 3 months. Since 2 + n = 2n = 4 The real answer is false.

Wrong,assume n is 1 2n equals to 2 and 2 plus n equals to 4
