Hi, thank you for watching. I'm not conversant with agencies that help with relocation in South Africa. I usually advice people to go through the process themselves, if they can. Besides, it is a point based system and if your scores are high enough, you wouldn't need any agencies to help with your application. You can check www.cic.gc.ca for all the information you need. Will my HR certificate still be valid then? I know different provinces have their own legislation and regulations and stuff and I am worried that I won't be able to use ny certificate if I were to move. Is there something I have to do in that case?
@SmallTalkWithFaith2 жыл бұрын
Hi, I'm aware that in Ontario, you'll have to take the CHRP if you're moving from another province but i'm not certain about the other way round. I suggest that if you have an idea of the province you'll move to, you can reach out to their HR body there and find out. They're usually responsive to emails. Check online.

Hi, It all depends on different factors and on how each of them fit into your current or future plans. I believe they will both offer you the right HR foundation and equip you for your HR journey. For example, if you want to hit the job market quickly, you may want to consider the one with a shorter duration. Cost may also be another consideration to help in your decision. In summary, it really all depends! Wishing you the very best in your journey 😊

Hi thanks for the helpful video! I'm wondering if it's hard to be a HR manager as a foreigner. I heard that when it comes to HR managers, they'd prefer Canadian citizens I guess due to cultural differences, language difficulties, etc. Is that true? I wanna gain some HR experience here, and then go to Canada to work there.
@SmallTalkWithFaith3 жыл бұрын
Hi, Thanks for watching. There are cultural differences when you are a foreigner but it only takes a while and you will get a hang of it. While it's not easy getting an HR Manager job without Canadian experience, it is doable and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. My advice is that you get your HR experience and when the time comes, you network and apply for HR roles. Keep an open mind though, in the event that you don't get a role that is exactly the same as what you had in your home country. You can also try affordable post graduate courses in Canada, this will also give you an edge when applying for jobs.

Thanks for the feedback. With visas, you can never really tell the outcome. Doing a Diploma is a viable option of relocating to Canada. I've heard it work for some people while others have had their visas denied and so it's neither here nor there. It is worth the shot regardless.
