i think all the bags you buy are trendy to be honest. I mean Chanel is definitely a trendy brand. The classic flap has been around a while but the colors that it comes in are super trendy.

All I can say is avoid their patent leather at all costs, especially on strappy sandals, it’s extremely brittle & tears easily (even when it’s stitched & re-enforced). The only experience I’ve had with their other leathers is the saffiano leather on the tabs on my nylon makeup pouches. I wash them in my front loader & the small leather pieces are still perfectly fine, not even water damage. If you’re concerned, I’m sure there will be plenty of reviews on KZbin & on-line.
