sir if particle come from extreme position towards mean than both displacement and acceleration have same direction how sir please explain ....,.
@utsavm4862
@utsavm4862 8 жыл бұрын
When a body is moving away from its mean position, it always tends to get back to its mean position. So, the acceleration is always in the direction of mean position. If a pendulum is moved from its mean position, it will want to get back to its mean position so it will accelerate towards mean position. And its displacement is in the direction of its acceleration. :)
@utsavm4862
@utsavm4862 8 жыл бұрын
Sir but when the body is returning from extreme position, the displacement is in the direction of acceleration? i.e. body is moving towards mean position, acceleration is towards mean position.

Sir, when the particle reaches mean position there is no force is acting on it.so sir this means that at mean position acceleration is zero, and also sir we have learnt that kinetic energy=half of mass times the dot product of velocity. Is it correct? And also Sir how can we define an inertial force?
