Sir reverse current flows due to which minority charges as concentration of both p type and n type increased so there will be hole current too..so what we consider reverse current is because of electron or hole..?
@akshitathebest10116 жыл бұрын
In diode reverse current is due to which electron or hole as this is pn junction so here is both p type and n type...sir my question is which current is higher in case of reverse bias. ?? Or we should always consider hole current lesser than current due to electron
@injourney71476 жыл бұрын
@@akshitathebest1011 in p- electrons & in n- holes are in minority......so since there is no barrier for those minor electrons to travel to minor holes , neutralise it & create a hole at its place which is again filled by other minor electron......it is maintained by a potential difference in case of reverse biased diode .....although the number of minor electrons and holes does not change and there a const. current which flows ...name given as reverse current because it occurs in case of reverse biased diode. So reverse current is because of both minor particals and its value becomes const. after a application of certain voltage .😀

Force of repulsion of electrons + force of repulsion of holes is greater than applied potential... so, result will be in decrease of layer & also explained at 14:50

If supply voltage is less than ,how zener regulate terminal voltage
@tarunpratapsingh52766 жыл бұрын
Sir , we uses the property that a input voltage greater than the zener voltage (set to required voltage) will be drained out by the increased current and the output voltage will be constant, Vi = Vo - Ir can't we use the forward baising so the "cut in" voltage will be set as the required voltage and and any input voltage above that will be drained out as increased current ?

sir p to +ve or n -ve hota hai to electric field p to n banni chahiye par ap n mien +ve sign dikha rahe ho or p mein -ve sign dikha rahe aia kyon please reply sir
@injourney71476 жыл бұрын
p or n dono neutral hote hai......jab junction bnta hai tb p k holes ko n k free electron neutral kr dete hai aur apni jagha +ve charge bna dete hai.....vaise hi p k holes ne electron except kiya toh uspr -ve charge aajata hai.....isliye p ko -ve aur n ko +ve show krte hai aur electric field flows from +ve to -ve....😀
@injourney71476 жыл бұрын
p aur n +ve,-ve ni hota....ye bs representation hai......both are neutral
@krishnachowdhury76015 жыл бұрын
you are wrong brother.. actually sir put it by mistake.. n is full of free electron it is negetively charged.. amd p acts like positive
