Hello sir I have 2 questions regarding junction diode. 1--- forward and reverse biasing me kya P type wale semiconductor me jitne number of holes hai same number of electrons N type semiconductor m bhi hai??? If yes ,then what is the logic behind it? 2 question--- for example forward bias me applied dc voltage potential barrier ke Voltage k opposite hai and it results to forward current flows and in reverse bias Vb aurr Applied dc voltage same direction me hai and it results to reverse current. Mera question yeh h hai ki agar V=Vb ho jae tab kya hoga us condition me?? Please reply Sir Thanks

Sir this video was very helpful . But I still have a doubt that in reverse biasing how does the width of depletion layer increase ?
@tahiraayub44936 жыл бұрын
Helna Joseph this is bcoz in reverse biasing we hv put the bttry sch tht...its ngtve is towards p type nd its pstve is towards n type ... therefore p type is attracted by ngtve terminal nd n type is attracted by pstve terminal

in reverse biasing electrons will get double potential which is . it's own potential and the battery's potential ... which will get added and have a push towards the holes so current will be produced. why this doesn't happen ? please someone answer to this.

Here actually we connect +I've of battery with _ive and the +I've of battery attract - I've from n towards itself and thus increasing depletion region hence current can't produce....same for p
