Part of problem is the pharmaceutical culture of paying for lunches, or other meals, for docs and/or staff, in exchange for time to discuss their product. Also providing promotional products such as pens, pads although this is supposed to be more regulated.

I have no idea how to get myself out of this jam but i have been watching you're videos all night and i feel hope. I feel like I can have a plan to help myself and I did not have that until now. Thank you for such vital information. I am nearly 71 and female. I was visiting my brother who is 65 my other brother popped in and they both look 30 years older than me. They have bad health. The male nurse who pops in 4 times a day to give my brother yet another handful of his meds. 38 every day! Both my brothers had just had birthdays, the youngest 61, when I said, lol bro. That makes me neatly 71. The nurse said WHAT? I thought you were the baby of the family! My brothers looked at me and said, good Lord! How come you look so young? My answer food/nutricition. Active life style!!!! I do not wear make up or have any false procedures.

Bacon is so easy to make at home, the only ingredients needed are pork, (I use belly pork and bone it myself,) sea salt and a little bit of freshly ground black pepper, once the pork is thickly rubbed with the salt and pepper, it sits in a slightly tilted dish in the fridge for 4-5 days. Every day you pour off the fluids that have accumulated in the tilted end of the dish and turn and re-salt the pork. I cure it for five days, at the end of that I rinse it in cold water, dry and wrap in greaseproof paper ready to slice rashers as wanted. If it is too salty for your taste, slice the rashers, put in cool water for 10 minutes, dry thoroughly and cook as normal. No nasty chemicals used or required and it keeps very well for several weeks in the fridge. Ham is similarly easy to make from scratch although one uses a wet brine and adds spices like nutmeg and allspice, there are plenty of easy instructions available online. Please though, spend a little bit extra and buy pork from pigs that have had some quality of life before slaughter. One thing to note, all American fresh meat and meat products are banned in Europe due to the unacceptable levels of hormones and antibiotics found in the meat, and the animal welfare not being up to European standards. I know times are very hard for many people, but it is worth trying to find quality/organic/ meat from naturally reared livestock and poultry, cook it with love and gratitude and eat a little less of it. Your body will thank you in the long run.

For the dressing I have a swet and savory vinaigrette I make. I use raw fruit viniger I make with olive oil, garlic powder, pepper, and a touch of honey, preferably raw, to balance the acidic taste. I know that sugar s like honey are on ur no list, but I think that this is a great dressing. Plus, raw honey has benificial bacteria in it. I'm not sure I'd like kimchi in my salad, but I make a mean kimchi fried rice with eggs and meat. I use olive oil for that too

Been in the medical profession 28yrs. Today & those I would avoid 'pills' and find a natural foods to accomplish the desired result. Whether it be anti-inflammatory,etc. To this day I avoid so-called doctors. It is harder to find 'virgin/natural food substitutes. But, I found God. Now I'm not comparing God to natural food. But He provides the best for me and cares for what concerns me. God is faithful & good, helping me find what I need. Even with food.

I am on my third week off my Metformin and Pantoprazole medication for GORD & type 2 Diabetes for last 4yrs. I have been in so much pain in my Stomach every time I ate anything. I have been doing the 16hour fast and as. You said my swollen stomach is going down and the bloating feeling is gone. The paid in my stomach has also disappeared completely. I have been waiting to see my Consultant for the Stomach pains since March(UK NHS) has long waiting list. But I am hoping I wouldn’t be needing them, if I continue watching your Channel.

You have to take responsibility for your own health. The NHS isn't going to do it for you. The only time they are any good is if you have broken bones or genuine medical emergency. However keeping you healthy ie a healthy lifestyle so you seldom have to see a doctor, they haven't got a clue. Dr Jimnadas is correct. Anything with an ingredients list has got to be bad for you or raise suspicions as to what is in it. Eat whole foods, organic, wash veg thoroughly. Cut out sugar and keep your carb intake very low. Do intermittent fasting. You'll soon be free of taking any drugs and have reversed your bloating and T2 diabetes. Fast once a week for 24-36 hours. Don't over eat when you break your fast. You can do it.

Back in 2008 I was overweight, hypertensive, fatigued and moody...a good nutritionist man i met in a health store told me about his own integrative MD, gave me his name and phone and made an appointment...This integrative MD saved my life from day one...he said " if what you buy at the market comes from a can, bag or box, put it back on the shelf, real food comes from a green plant, not a factory plant"...told me to read labels, "when labels are hard to read or too many, don't eat it"...he gave me a recipe to mix spices, one teaspoon of the following spices: cumin, black pepper, ginger, coriander, turmeric, ginger, cloves, rosemary, parsley, thyme, garlic powder, basil, sage, oregano, and Himalayan salt...mixed all of them in a large glass bottle and used it in your meals.......

Hello Doctor Jamnadas, thank you so much for taking the time of explaining all these details. It helps us understand our bodies in a way that we can change our lifestyle instead of just "dieting" for a while and then falling off the wagon and overeating. It really helps when the source of information is a person who is well educated in the subject and can provide the correct information from an actual doctor's perspective who is willing to give the truth, and not just recommending medications for every ailment as a bandaid, which is what we see today way too often. Kudos to you for sharing your knowledge! Sharing is caring.

Hi Doc, you Rock, Wow, I have been binge watching your videos (am I addicted to you lol) I really encourage you to do more of these short videos on nutrition as your longer lectures, although incredibly informative and helpful can strain the brain, whereas the short and sweet videos are brilliant to apply immediately. Only one word of constructive criticism is ALL the veg you show in this food video is covered in single use Plastic. I know its not your fault, its the supermarkets but perhaps for future videos use lovely wicker baskets to display the produce (not Products lol) Thank you very much for all your amazing work. It's ok.. acknowledge that it strains the brain... And continue. There's nothing wrong with this being hard. Your brain will hurt because it is creating new connections of information. Drink some water. That's what I tell all my students who says things like this literally hurt their brains. This is meant to be a challenge especially if you're transitioning from a false American diet. In USA we are falsely taught information, we think whole wheat is good from a 5 minute video, then we go to the store and buy something in a bag ... We are thought honey is healthy then we go to a store and buy something in a jar for a " special price" of ¢.99... we brainwash ourselves into thinking we are doing good .... But then you watch a 30 minute lecture and it " makes your brain hurt" cause now you have to UNLEARN all the mess you learned over the years in USA... European countries are no different since most of them also promote American style products... However most Europeans know the value of good education... So have no fear over long videos. Those are the ones to watch religiously.

@@blackleague212 btw honey is actually good for your health but most of the honey you buy are not 100% honey, you can check if its pure honey by checking if it dissolves easily in water. If it does , then its mainly just made of syrup.
