I will be watching this series. Apart from the centre two bolts what other holes go through that need sealing to keep water and dust out? We will be removing out rear seats soon. When the rear plastic strip is removed I have seen pictures of where the plastic studs / pins go in. Wondering if these holes go through to the channel underneith that has drain holes in it. Any tips for removing the rear seats ?

The seat removal is super easy, just make sure you have an extender so your sockets can reach the bolts. Honestly, I'm really surprised how sealed the whole flooring is when you get the seats out. The only real holes that are open you can just put the same bolts back in to close them up. The holes where the plastic rear strip plugged into is probably your only worry for dust but I think you can get plastic plugs from Bunnings for about $2 for a pack of 10 or something like that. When I redo the back, I'll be putting the plastic strip back in but only to halfway. Thanks for watching 😊

Keen to see the rest. My 3rd row is out but haven't done the floor yet. You can also hear the fuel sloshing around a lot wjth the 3rd row out.

Thanks mate!! Yeah the sound deadening is a must do. It's even worse when the road is wet and you're driving over puddles 😂

@@manandhistarp Any updates on how your build has progressed? How many sheets of sound deadening do you reckon you'd need to cover the floor?

Jeez I've been slack, the back is now full of Kaon gear and there's a few good things going on with the ARB base rack. I changed the drawer configuration to a single drawer on the passenger side and left the driver side rear seat in so it's a 6 seater. I used just one layer of deadening and just made sure I was pretty happy with it once I put the drawer in properly. The only other thing is that the drawer was done by Drifta as a regular 900mm drawer doesn't fit length ways if you have a drop table installed which I do
