Another way of increasing efficiency in a somatic way (same thing, slightly different variation), is changing the type of air intake, and the type of nozzle. At that point, you want it to run as effectively as possible, on the lowest quality fuels, so it can always go up a fuel grade and work even better.

I know of several companies that make small jet engines in Europe. Could you possibly buy fuel pumps for jet engines with a thrust of 100 kg or more? For example the fuel pump of jet cat p1000 or pbs tj 100 and tj150. I'm looking for a fuel pump with 3lpm performance at 6bar. They don't answer my emails. can you do my favor? If I can't buy a pump, I'll have to make the pump myself. Pump development is difficult because there is no company that makes a small amount of small gears or the like.

Seems like it runs pretty good once started. Might need to figure a way to keep it spinning on cool-down so you don't get any warping or other similar issues. My limited understanding is stopping a jet turbine while it's still hot may lead to bad news regarding its maintenance. And is the scraping at the end on the outer periphery or is it the bearings?
@Praendy Жыл бұрын
Hi, the ngv is not the problem. I figured out the engine housing, where the ngv is screwed in, is a bit warped. At the moment I build a new "bigger" housing and the problem will be solved. Usualy I use a 90mm electric impeller in front of the air intake to cool down the engine. Thank you😉 Andy

Hydro turbines introduced so funny names, but I understand that axial compressor blades mostly lie in a plane ( small angle ) to press into the chamber. Turbine blades on the other hand are "vertical" at angle 90° for maximum torque. So I understood that the exhaust velocity is far above the velocity of the blades? So it seems like that we could just place counter rotating n1, n2, and n3 ( co to n1 ) turbines in series. With guide vanes before and after this stack.

I use ngv and turbine inconel 713c. Haven't tried the 316 or 310s, so I'm not sure if they can handle the heat. The temperature of the exhaust nozzle can reach 900 degrees, so there is no problem using 316.

On startup the flame was ignited around 8 o'clock, I noticed flame exhausted around 3-430 o'clock on warm-up. Is this because there's a localised flame front for each combustion cycle as it warms? Do you have internal ignition? Or once running it's in auto-ignition from previous combustion?
@Praendy Жыл бұрын
Hi, There is a lighter in my hand to ignite the fuel. Once ignited there is a steady combustion like a gas torch. During spoolup the fuel is on the lowest point and because of the direction of rotation the flame appears 4-5 o clock, until the idle speed and the pressure inside the engine has stabilized. Andy
