Hello Gintaras, Voici un très grand réseau de tramway qui traverse le centre historique. J'adore voir les tramways au milieu des bâtiments historiques ! Même les anciens tramways roulent vite. Je trouve le design des Elecktra très réussi. C'est mes préférés. Merci pour cette très grande vidéo.

I love how fast the trams are going! Shows how much work theyve put into being a competitive tranist mode and not just a publicity project like in the US!

Ye, its normal tram speed in other cities Like in Warsaw tram can move on 70km/h

You can see that these trams have a much more complicated route (between cars, on narrow streets) than, for example, Warsaw trams, where almost all tracks are separated from the road. It is quite a feat that in Prague they maintain a speed comparable to Warsaw trams.

Only in the downtown, outside the downtown are the tracks separated from cars

the rules of the road in Prague is: Tram has absolute priority. If you are a car,bus or a person- its your obligation to avoid tram. Cross the path of the tram, if a crash happens or tram runs over you: you are guilty!! Very simple rule of the road: tram is the kind of the road And everybody know that here (except some ignorant tourists who pay in their health, life or fines ocassionally)

I'm really looking forward to move to a bigger city, I'm currently 16yo in Pilsen. I love the perspective of a giant city that i can explore alone.

Plzeň je krásné město a má skvělou MHD. Spousta podobně velkých měst ve střední Evropě jí může tak hustou síť tramvají a trolejbusů jen závidět (je dost měst, která mají více obyvatel, ale jezdí tam jen autobusy), nemluvě o podobně velkých městech mimo Evropu.

Living in a big city is definitely better for a young person, but Prague has terrible ration salaries/prices of housing, so think well about that, you will need some other people to live with, you need at least 2, but more like 3 people to pay rent of one apartment and save some money.

new Škoda trams are already being produced in Prague, of which there will be 100 units

Are the old T3 (70xx-72xx) no longer in service? It seems that all T3 car numbers start with 8xxx. In the old streets of Prague, the Tatra looks more beautiful than the Skoda!

Original T3s without any modernisation only run on line 23 (it serves as a nostalgia line (without any further fare - all regular tickets and passes are accepted) and a boost to the busiest part of line 22).

@@dood1e678 thank you. I learned from this video that Prague trams are rapidly being modernized. Do you know where I can find a list of all tram cars running in Prague? I am curious about the oldest tram in regular service, not a special tram.

@Sputnik812 No problem. cs.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tramvajov%C3%A1_doprava_v_Praze Click on the chapter "Vozový park" and scroll down a little. There's a little table with the types used including pictures and how many are in service. The data is from late May 2023, but that has probably not changed much. A hundred new trams were ordered last year, but it will take a couple years before the first piece is delivered.

@@dood1e678 wonderful! The Czech Wiki has a huge amount of information. I found out that the SUCS type I'm talking about retired from regular service in 2017. Prague trams seem to value history. Preserved trams, special routes, tram museums... maybe the T3 will still run in the 22nd century. 🚋⌚💪

A lot of them were given to Ukraine, so check numbers on their trams, maybe you will find them, a lot of them still keep original Prague numbers.
