The Palacky Bridge is a road bridge spanning the Vltava River in Prague. It was constructed between 1876 and 1878, designed by Bedřich Münzberger and Josef Reiter, to facilitate access to the rapidly developing industrial district of Smichov. The bridge was officially opened for traffic on December 22, 1878. Today, it stands as the third oldest preserved bridge over the Vltava in Prague, and notably, it is the first bridge to carry a tram line.
