Prague What's The Hype About?

When I visited Prague before the fall of the Iron Curtain the castle was the venue for an eastern block meeting, dignitaries from the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe were all in attendance. I was struck by the opulence of their cars and uniforms. In yesterdays post I confused the market square with Wenceslas Square, I don't recall there being a market square then.

I remember when SU now Russia occupied Checoslovakia it was in August 1968 at the time I was working in Vienna Austria lots of Checoslovakian people running from Russians refugees came to Austria
