Great memories of Dr. Kirt from 77/78 and 78/79: Planting trees in the wooded area at 22nd and Park Blvd, trip to Utica (caves) and the Michigan Dunes. On one field trip he kept asking me to touch a certain plant and identify it, which I could not do. It was toxicodendron radicans - poison ivy. I never developed symptoms, but thereafter my nickname in class was Rhus. Wonderful experience!

I am so glad this came up on my suggested videos. This man was way ahead of his time. This is a big deal now. Ba k then he had to fight to get ppl to listen to him.
