Prairie Dog Population Control - CVA Cascade Varmint Hunter .22-250

Native to most of the middle parts of the United States, prairie dogs are notorious for digging holes in massive numbers, which is detrimental to land and agricultural resources. Because of this, many farmers and ranchers want them gone! Brad and Adam from Final Descent Outdoors got called out to assist a local farmer with some prairie dog pest control and they did just that. The Cascade Varmint Hunter made quick work on dozens of prairie dogs.

We are using a bench made by X-Stand Treestands. It’s super portable and for this I highly recommend it.

Fun video, thanks. Personally, I prefer the .204 Ruger (40gr V-Max), way less recoil, can see the hits in the scope. Very close ballistics to the .22-250 (55gr). Thanks again, cheers...

@@greggschachterleppc2769 - Hi Gregg, not sure if your comment was for me? Not sure why but I just saw this now. My .204 is a CZ 527, it is topped with a Bushnell Elite 3200, 5-15x40 AO scope. Nice bit of kit! My best shot so far was a coyote at 267 yards.
