Your Happy Mail cards just keep getting better and better! I thoroughly enjoyed everyone's cards - they got me really inspired! (Too bad it's time to go to bed and that I'm working tomorrow.) Agree with you that Canada postage stamps are not super exciting. The worse part is that I mostly have to use the oversize ones since my cards are so thick and those have the worst design. (Used to be birds, now it's a very generic landscape.) I'm trying to figure out how many regular stamps I would need to come up to the same amount. (Not easy to figure out now that they only print P on them!) Glad you liked my Lawn Fawn and Greeting Farm cards :)

The P marked postage is around 85 cents - and oversize is 1.80 - so you'd need at least 2 permanent plus 10 cents in postage. You can ask at your post office because most if not all should have some smaller denomination stamps (they used to but I honestly don't know if they carry them anymore)

and I just looked on Canada Posts website - you can order low value stamps in sheets and yes the P stamps are worth 85 cants right now (but b/c they're marked P if the domestic rate goes up they're worth that rate)

You mentioned your Lawn Fawn order being stuck in Chicago. I had an international package stuck in Chicago recently and wasn’t sure what to do. After waiting over a week, I decided to request a text message from the USPS tracking service to let me know when the item started moving again. The next day it moved and was delivered soon after. The next time I had an international package on order, I immediately requested text messages from the USPS tracking site when it shipped and it flew through the Chicago international postal area as quickly as a domestic delivery. Not sure if it was a coincidence, but maybe trying that will shake your Lawn Fawn order loose and get it moving again.

My Lawn Fawn order finally showed up - haul video coming ASAP. It's another big Halloween order that's being held up in/around Chicago - and I just tried signing up for text updates and the USPS site won't let me for this package. SOMETHING is up with it and it's driving me insane. It's literally been moving around Chicago for 3 weeks now as if no one knows what to do with it. AURGH!!!!

I don't know if you know, but the popcicle stamps from the US are scratch and sniff. I didn't know until I had used a few and couldn't figure out where the fruity smell was coming from in my wallet... it was those stamps. Another beautiful bunch of cards this month!
