So glad to see a multimixed media card being made! And the distressing on the edges of those cards just made such a huge difference. It’s amazing. They are absolutely beautiful, and I totally appreciate the real time format!

AMY, that is a real couple of art pieces created by your hands, they could easily be matted and turned into wall art. Those cards are just gorgeous, so interesting to look at.

Turned out super cute Amy. I’ve never done it with the crackle paste, only the transparent grit paste, which I love because it looks like molten glass. I’ll definitely give it a try. TFS

I hear you, sometimes you just gotta go for it - sometimes it works and sometimes it's a hot mess, but it's all part of the fun, right?

Really pretty. I thought embossing glaze was like a gel or wet paste. I will have to look into these products. Thanks for making these cards this. Great to learn something new. 😊💗🇨🇦

I recommend searching Tim Holtz channel as he's done many videos using them and explaining them along with a bunch of different techniques :)

Could you just use a hair dryer in place of the ranger tool do you think? I have a wagner for heat embossing already, I just wonder if it bends the cardstock more if you use it for drying 🤔
@PrairiePaperandInk10 сағат бұрын
doesn't matter what you use in regards to the cardstock curling - it's going to curl if there's a lot of moisture involved. It flattens out as it dries. A hair dryer is going to be more of a pain than using an embossing tool like I explained in the video - hair dryers have a ton of forced air so it's going to blow all the liquid around. I have an old video using a hair dryer to speed up the drying of stickles - they have their uses but I haven't used one since as the ranger heat tool does the job for me.
