Praise Check

On Friday, August 26th, UPCI Music Ministry and Illinois Youth Ministries joined together in a collaborative effort at the BOS Center in Springfield, Illinois to raise awareness and funding for Move The Mission. Move The Mission provides funding for both North American and Global missionaries while also providing additional funding for children’s homes, etc.
This evening was filled with many special moments both naturally and spiritually. We hope that these moments bless you and continue to Move The Mission.

Fog and darkness has absolutely no place in an apostolic worship session. Please, calling on apostolic people to pray about this and understand that the "nightclub" atmosphere does not belong at our altars and sanctuaries. We are not to be relevant, but change the world. Not to become more like the world to attract more people.

This is not nightclub atmosphere. The fog helps the lights and overall look of the stage. Keeping the lights down is so that all focus is on the pulpit. No distractions of what anyone else is wearing or doing or when people get up and walk around. It pulls focus to the worship and to the message. Just because something happens in the world too, doesn’t mean we are being like the world.

For those of you in the comments that have a problem with this kind of worship one you don’t understand the context of the service or the schedule or what the service is to. You probably go to a dead church that isn’t growing if other denominations can have the best of everything and have pure and true worship why can’t the apostolic church?

Can we all just worship Jesus together, people?!....there are churches who don't even wear colored shirts because "blah blah blah"...There are churches that freak out because the "Pianeeee" moved 6inches to the left, blah blah blah"....if you're letting an atmosphere/expression 2nd guess YOUR praise, YOU might have the problem my friend. There are probably churches that don't play certain chords or a certain style because"blah blah blah." Music and Worship was God's idea, and he said to DO IT and DO IT WELL. "WORSHIP" is a lifestyle, and it will be received by ONE Creator, not one complainer...so get with it or don't... Go to the conference or don't...Complain or don't. Does that make sense 🤔? Why a smoke machine? That’s not appropriate the mountain of God is not a place to take lightly we can’t allow that false narrative adopted from non Holy Ghost churches to infiltrate the very throne of God, it took 2 cherubim’s to cover the mercy seat, the very throne of God on the ark of the covenant the third angel that was responsible for this duty was cast out due to pride. We are the third part of the equation, and we mustn’t be like keen, and present the worship the way we think Ezekiel 28 explains it all.
