I created Praise Patrol because I wanted to express just how profoundly this show has affected me and so many other people around the world. Doom Patrol is a great show, I didnt even know Larry wasnt gay in the original but his character is what really resonated the most, it doesnt just apply to gay men or women but also those who try to hide themselves or their true selves and how it chips on them day by day.

In a seson full of many iconic moments, the karaoke scene is my favorite moment of season 1. It gave me hope only to spit in my face later, i love it. Also yes! not many people recognize how much the body actors like Matthew Zuk bring to the charm of these characters!

Danny the Street is so great. It's all the great things about living in a small town with none of the prejudices. Danny is a good friend, and I felt so sad when they were reduced to a brick.

I'm a straight male. I am broken and damaged but I really connect with Larry Trainor his healing in my healing. I was Larry. I locked myself away for 10 years . I was lonely for a very long time and I was ashamed and I didnt know how to be better. I was hurting for a long time. I hated myself for a very long time for falling in love. Seeing them all survive their trauma is helping me survive my trauma. At different levels I connect with the whole team. I love this show.

Tbh doom patrol has easily become one of my fav comic things ever due to, specifically, the show and its interpretation of Larry, as well as Gerard Ways strange and human run of doom patrol. Tdlr Doom Patrol is super gay and super fuckin good
