The Kaiser Liberty Ship building plan was wildly famous during that time. I remember reading an anecdote in a war time Reader's Digest where some woman celebrity was brought to a ship yard to christen a new ship. Standing there with a champagne bottle, the woman says, "There's no ship!" Kaiser replies, "Wait." The joke being the ship would appear so fast to be launched she needed to be on hand. He eventually got it down to 5 days to build a cargo Liberty Ship. Supposedly when Hitler heard that he remarked that Germany could never defeat the US. But that might be a myth.

That was actually lampooned in my all-time favorite Warner Bros. cartoon, "The Weakly Reporter." At the end, a woman was standing at an empty dry dock ready to swing a bottle of champagne. She turned to a man, and asked, "But, where's the boat?" He replied, "Just start swinging, lady!" The boat arose out of nowhere as she swung. The camera then went to a factory shack with the name, Henry J. Kaiser, and a sign that said, "Back in 2 minutes - out to launch"!

That Nancy Pelosi intervened to prevent objections from being officially acknowledged. There was a procedure for counting the votes that had been used for over 150 years. After the electoral votes were counted and the number of objections recorded there was supposed to be a vote to decide if there would be further inquiry into the objections. This was fully expected to result in noting the objections but certifying Biden as the winner because there were not enough objections to change the result. Nancy Pelosi refused to even allow the process to be completed with the ceremonial acknowledgement that some of the individual electoral votes were disputed. She single handedly instigated 1/6

True enough, he didn't serve in the trenches. But many other men didn't go overseas, but served nonetheless. In every war there were more men backing the trigger pullers then trigger pullers. Just because you don't the man, he did enlist. Have you served?
