I believe it is supposed to be that the key to understanding prophecy is that understanding it will be very close to the time that prophecy is going to be fulfilled. Just like Jesus had a different resurrected body, where his disciples almost didn’t recognize him. We will be with God in spirit in heaven until our body is resurrected (1 thes 4). We go to the wedding supper of the lamb after we are taken up , and to the place Jesus referenced when he comforted the disciples by saying “ In my father’s house are many mansions, if it were not so I would’ve told you. I go to prepare a place for you and if I could prepare a place for you, I will come again and bring you to myself, that where I am there, you may also”. After those 7 years. I believe is when we come back down for the battle of Armageddon. Otherwise, it wouldn’t make any sense for us to be taken up only to immediately come back down for that battle. That’s my take, but some things we won’t be sure on this side of heaven.

Good thinking Pat, I was wondering if anyone else was doing the math. I admit for a minute I was feeling disappointment since I would not be here for 2067 until I remembered the key scripture. It is written that He will come at a time when we do not expect. If it was a matter of counting Jubilees, well, His return would easily be expected. The signs are almost all here now, and "If the time was not cut short, no one would be saved". Look at what's happening in the world now. It won't last another 40 years at the current trajectory. This trajectory must be cut short. So hang in there Pat, just a little while longer.

I was trying to illustrate that even from a secular view, what we've been doing to the life sustaining elements, our air, water, land, etc that the earth will not support life in a decade or two- if even that. Dane Wingington's work clearly illustrates this. I am grateful the Lord will be coming before that point. Bless you Lynn as we both continue keeping that watchful eye out for His return.
