Been following Prakhar long before his channel blew up...been a fan...seen the dude get more confident through his journey and watched him grow...its been so inspiring. But I have to say, somewhere it does feel like he's lost a bit of his humility..I wouldn't necessarily call it arrogance but I guess the level of self introspection has reduced, he's not listening to understand, he's listening to respond. The way he talks, he gives off this impression that he's got it all figured out. Its more like sitting in a class listening to a professor who thinks he's got the answers to all questions of life.

@@mrsleviackerman2370 it's the other way around. He was mostly kept on check back when he was still a regular part of RnR, considering the fact that he wasn't the so called "Smartest guy in the room". Swetabh always had deeper insights to give, maybe you won't like to hear it, but he mostly stole the conversations because he had deeper insights. I had come across the first Interaction Swetabh and Peakhar had, where Swetabh was the guest to Prakhar's podcasts. There was a sentence he spoke to whose context I don't remember, but the sentence went as such: "Hum jaise logo ko pata hota hai ke jis kisi bhi room mein hum chale jaaye sabse hoshiyaar insaan hum he hai, air isme ghamand wali koi baat nahi hai, it's just the way it is..". That was one of the first videos I had seen Prakhar in, and since that video I had had a glimpse of Narcissism in the guy. But when you had seen him in convo with intellectuals who are far grown and well read than he is, such as Swetabh and Anand Gandhi, he has been dominated, and to a large extend, intimidated. I guess in the last few months, since the day he Left RnR, he has had not many people to virtually challenge him, to replace him as the most outspoken person in a conversation. Even his attitude in The few RnR reunions seem dramatically Varried if you pay attention. Ofcourse, he has grown, he has certainly become smarter...but I feel a significant bit of Eccentricity has come along with it.

Shantaram was once supposed to be made into a movie by Mira Nair (it still can be - fingers crossed). Johnny Drop was cast but he didn't want to travel to India apparently according to Irrfan who was also supposed to be in the film. Mira Nair can still make this movie in the future. The story is there.

In lieu of Prakhar suggesting 'Shantaram", I just came across this Wikipedia article of a man named "Franklin Delano Floyd", further from a ranker article called "Seemingly normal images with Incredibly unsettling backstories". While reading the wiki page, I was wondering this must be the most mind boggling, disturbing yet intriguing story I ever read and its a Wikipedia page and its non-fiction, a real life man's life. Its Fincher and Scorcese and Bong Joon Ho all combined into one. Surprisingly no one made a movie on it so far. So I was wondering there must be a book about him written, surely there must be. And at the end of the wiki article I find this book mentioned called "A Beautiful Child" by Matt Birckbeck, an investigative journalist. BRB. Running to purchase this book. Meanwhile if any of you find out where can I avail this book online, it would be great. Do read the Wikipedia page right now. Its like what R Kapoor said of Sanju biopic, "I don't believe its real, its sci-fi". Same here, this man Floyd lived a disturbingly dystopian life but surprisingly in the past from now.

When someone who is supposedly preaching motivation and spirituality, one should always have the introspection no matter how much huge we become. Coz flexing our skills and telling everyone to be humble at the same time doesn't go well. Being confident is one thing and being arrogant is another. He was neither of it. He was delusional! He is literally using the business strategy of Sadhguru's way of approach combined with the current govt's provoking nature to his benefit. It is doing more good than harm. And that's the reason I just closed the video when it was premiering coz he was just flexing and flexing and flexing. He is literally selling his own merch of "Waah Prakhar Waah" tees with the kind of conversations he is doing. CCT, please do consider him the next time you try to bring him. Please!

he certainly sounds like a guy who is living in a period in his life that is yet to come, that isn't here yet. The way he speaks of his upbringing, his growth, of the things that led him here is quite unsettling. I am generally quite eager to hear people speak about how they got here, in their current state in lives, and how far the tangent must have pulled; but taking in disposal his tone, the air of pride in his body language, and the fact that he's merely 100K subscribers through(which is nothing big in comparison to people he has sat with, and people he has interviewed), the two do not sit well. 'Dillusional' as you say is an accurate word....there certainly are Narrisitic tendencies clearly visible in this interview. Self-introspection can transverse into Self-Validation piercing only a very thin sheet that separates the two.
