At first, no one noticed that Claire and Jack disappeared, but then Claire's boyfriend started to get worried because it was really strange. 2. Jack wrote in his message that Claire was feeling unwell and he was accompanying her home. He added there was nothing to be worried about. 3. Of course, if a person drinks too much wine or a different type of alcohol, he or she may start to feel seek because of the beverage. 4. Eric felt insulted because Sarah had accused him of being inattentive to his girlfriend. 5. Anna couldn't help smiling because she figured out what really happened and therefore she was too happy for her friends.

1. Erik noticed Claire's disappearance for quite a long time first and started to get worried. He tried to figure out this situation but he didn't find Claire in the restroom, where as, she said she had gone 2. In the message, Jack apologized for his and Claire's disappearing. He said that Claire was not well and he was accompanying her home. He was sure that there was nothing to be worried about, so he didn't want to make worried other friends who were calmly restimg enjoying the evening 3. Sarah noticed that Claire was drinking wine the whole evening and she looked rather pale. She suggested that she looked so because of that wine. She said that Claire was obviously suffering from the wine as it had strange taste and was too strong and also contained absolutely no sugar. I agree with Sarah's comments, it turns on thay she found an excuse for Claire herself and Jack and Claire didn't have to add anything. But of course it doesn't justify them. They lied. To everyone. And it's too bad 4. Erik felt insulted because Sarah literally accused him of being inattentive to his girlfriend. 5. Anna wanted to smile because she had been noticing everything sitting quietly aside and observing the drama, she understood at once what was thay. But don't know why she is smiling because there is nothing funny about this situation

Quite a hard lesson for me. I still make many mistakes using prepositions. Here is my answers to the questions: 1. Eric was the first who noticed Claire’s absence; 2. Jack wrote that Claire felt bad after alcohol intoxication and he had to get her home; 3. Sure I don’t. That was just a tricky excuse; 4. Eric felt insulted because Sarah accused him of being careless to his girlfriend; 5. Anna was the only person who knew about Claire’s secret passion to Jack.

I watch your lessons from the first lesson, I really like everything. But I fully believed that Claire would be with Eric, with that person who respects, appreciates, loves and cares about her. and Jack did nothing for her, even when she left the USA for another country, he didn’t even call, and he also found himself a Blonde. What a low self-esteem Claire has to love a guy like Jack and turn his back on a good man.
