What I love about this song apart from the choreography, the cinematography and the song is that all the dancers are wearing red this means the main actress is not standing out wearing a different color dress. The choreography is done in such a manner that the strength and the charm of the main actress is shown through this. She is wearing same attire as rest of the back dancers and you can actually see the strength of her dance moves and her facial expressions which makes her stand out which is excellent in my opinion.

In the dress code of bharatanatyam and kuchipudi there won't be any difference between main lead and others, everyone dances equally. This is what they portrayed in this song

@@sushmasushu1475 that's not true. They can have different colours. Atleast if two people are there then they don't wear same colour to differentiate the characters they are potraying. When it's a group performance all side dancers have the same dress and the main lead is generally dressed separately. Like Krishna and gopikas. Gopikas all same dress and Krishna differently. I don't think having a uniform dress code is mandatory. Infact it's encouraged not to do so, so that audience can differentiate characters easily.

Such a beautiful concept. Backdrop is a Pandal in Bengal which houses Durga during Navratri. And the Pandal has a stage where girls are performing Bharatnatyam in gratitude to Durga. The setting's aesthetic is so beautiful, spiritual and empowering. I wonder what happened to the traditions ever since we were colonized, Women had such empowering roles. Love this piece that depicts such an amazing message.

This song is a perfect example how different art forms came out so beautifully. Firstly lyrics by Sastry garu is outstanding and it clearly brought out the devadasi's emotions which is where the story revolves. Secondly dance by Sai pallavi is par excellence especially the emotions she brought out in the song (sacrifices, pain, anger, strength). Choreographer has done a brilliant job of fusing different dance forms. Hats off to Anurag and Mickey for this divine composition. Great work by the director as well. Kudos to the whole team.
