About 20 years ago a man called my church an said him an his wife just moved to Tampa , an they was calling our church for money for a hotel. Till they can get on their feet. My pastor went an paid for their hotel, no questions asked. I asked why did he do it he said because we suppose to help strangers in need. I asked him why did they call the Adventist church over all others he said they said “ they knew they would get help” the couple was a Christian couple. This is how church suppose to be. I am the church an anytime someone calls me I do my best to help them. When your in the body of Christ we are all family. By the way that couple end up joining the church an moved into the spare house the church has for pastors. Can’t think of the correct name for it but y’all know what I mean

I believe that under certain circumstances that you show support " your " church. I also believe that being a" member" of a church is personal but not necessary by any means. So perhaps one of the deeply seated pastor scould show me according to book-chapter and verse: WHERE is the scripture that clearly points to "ME" not a non existing tribe of people in an Arabic /Asiatic county that was a law that no longer exist for the people that live in that country today .a verse that tell me to give a pastor of a churc 10 plus percentage of any form of income I may have. The the second question is alto it's clearly stated in both Deuteronomy & Leviticus that willows were under no obligation to support a church but the pastors demands the same from them too.So I'm sure some pastor will say something but nothing that would contribute to answering the question. Then the stand by preacher and the members that hold their minister higher then needed will say" You don't have to pay Tithes if you don't too and that's between you and GOD, then the person who's alway talkinig about something they know about only repeating what they heard will say it's in Mallchi 3:8-11, and of course thats the person that never completely read the whole book of Malachi then tho it's only 4 chapter. POINT to note Malachi like Nehemiah was ordered to reprimand the priest that were STEALING from the people. and lastly something nobody notices. in Deuteronomy it clearly states what Tithes are, and tithes didnt go to the church;;;;;;;;;;it when into a storehouse. I'm listening for the first Ordained minister to tell me that we are all Priests .
