lance when you put your car in sports mode what it does is it opens up the valves on the exhaust system as wide is it can so it will be as easier for the gases to escape through the system and which will easy for the engine to rev high as it can and go fast as well, if it like in just normal mode and you floor it it will up shift at probably 6k rpm and in sport it will 8.5k i think. It also it stiffens up the suspention system which makes the car to go fast as it can through the corner, you should take it on a track and enjoy and appreciate the car more and see what the car is really made to do. What it also does is that the transmmision is much for forgiving and much more direct and quick, it will shift in like a snap and pull harder and harder. it also inhances the power distribution to the wheels, since its an all-wheel-drive car in sports mode it will give the right amount of power needed in each will making it a good handling car in corner and on the apex as well
