Prasa X'trapolis Mega EMU:single set and double set at Hazendal.

I have seen the double set passing my house a few times. My guess it's easier than returning single sets. I have not seen these in service yet, hence my capture on video. I know in JHB and Pretoria that most of these operate as double sets. The way they just glide by is just so smooth. I see these were empty sets returning to the yard presumably?

What do you think can still be done to improve the overall look of the train? Me having looked at a few trauns from around the world recently, I feel some elements on the Sydney Metro train, New York new subway trains as well as the Hong Kong MTR R-Stock EMU could be added to the Metrorail Xtrapolis Mega

Great great question. This is a tough one. Had me thinking. Perhaps the couplers on each end of the train sets could have been concealed (similar to french TGV's and X'trapolis 2.0 In Australia). Also the carbody could have been a teenie bit wider. As for the bolt on cab, it could've sat a little more flush to the rest of the body just for extra uniformity and flow in design. But overall. I really love these X'trapolis Megas.

Just a quick one🤔💬❔are these new train sets fully operational on the Southern Line or are they still doing tests ,I've never really seen one live in action ,only the mock up version that was displayed @ CT Central Station & one or two that were on the platforms
