I am completely in agreement with you Prasad Garu. I have to drop off making movies after talking to few directors. There is no discipline. No basic knowledge of business. All they look for is grab an opportunity and squeeze it. It is absolutely true, that, they think, producer is not supposed to involve in project.. just fund it.. I refused to do so.. otherwise, I could have made at least 10 movies.

@@chandrasekhar3304 Only one person (Rajat Kapoor) actually approached me with the script .. that was from bollywood. He sent entire script to me by email.. I was interested to be in that project.. but timings did not workout. Rest many of them are just came with Oral story, when I asked them to prepare the written script and make the plan of their movie making.. almost all went away.. one so called director ... (never made any movie yet) but He claims He is an executive member in the Chamber (directors association) ..... came to me through another friend.... same Oral story telling...Asked him to prepare the script....gave him two months time being in India.. did followup with him.. but nothing concrete came out of him... wanted my macbook pro for him to use it....when I said, I cannot give it away just like that... he got angry and left.. I felt good that I did not venture into any business with him... Anyways... none other than the

@@FollowersOfPrabhupada Why don't you team up with PVP and joint produce movies? You might work for a while and pull yourself out and be independent once you get a recognition. I think producers like PVP needs other producers with like minds. That is when we'll start seeing changes in the industry and hope for quality movies. Or you could produce some short movies which would help shine your resume.

Nice Interview. Thanks for the information shared. Losing crores and self-esteem just for some more crores is a blunder. Sir, Believe in Content and make movies. Spend on Creators and Promotion rather than stars and combinations. What you said is right, people are changing and looking at new movies with good content. That's why Agent Athreya and Brochevarevurara and Evaru brought profits. Also, small films if they didn't work, bring less loss. Stick to profit-sharing model since you have good credibility.
