Pratik Bhai one correction U Bahn & other local transport isn't free in Berlin or matter of fact in any German cities, You can book a 24 Hr ticket for BVG or there are red or Yellow machine placed at station. The just don't have any check point for validating the tickets but they are not free just info for others. P.S : I had lived in Germany for 5-6 Months in span of last 2 years

Berlin mein transport free nahi hai.. you can see ticket machine at every train station even in trams and buses .. if you have monthly pass then you can access any one of them..

Bhai train station k bahar ticket machines hai.. and saare trams k andar bhi installed hai.. monthly pass 90 euro and single ticket 3.2 euro AB region k and 4 euro ABC reason ke liye. Mostly AB main kaam chal jata he . Brandenburg side Jahan airport hai wahan C lagta he. Without ticket Pakde jane pe acha khasa fine lagta he..

bhai without tickets pakde gaye koi bi train or any public transport me to 70 Euro fine hai and surprise checking hoti hai anytime, anywhere in the whole berlin, 2nd jaha se plant base burger khaya uske baju me hi Indian restaurant hai , me yahan mistake nahi nikal raha lekin galat information se koi fas bi sakta hai isliye mene correct kardiya , thank you

Transport ain’t free in Berlin. You have to buy tickets which are available at every stations before you enter the train. You don’t see people buying tickets because locals have monthly passes and they don’t need to buy it everytime because of that.

Bro I am here from last 4 years. Transportation is not free at all. There is a seasonal ticket. Most of people have that ticket. There are ticket machines available at every station. They charge minimum 60 euros fine to without ticket passengers. Don’t misguide peoples.
