Pratima Tilak: Raag Jaitashree

Pratima Tilak was the third artiste to perform at the FEA-curated Legacy concert where she represented the Jaipur-Atrauli gharana.
She began her recital with a bandish in Raag Jaitashree.
She was accompanied by Pt. Omkar Gulvady on tabla and Pt. Makarand Kundale on harmonium. Tanpuras and supporting vocals were provided by Asavari Gokhale Phadke and Maneesha Kulkarni.
We regret to inform the viewers that due to some unavoidable technical glitches during the performance, the audio of the alap section of this piece was not usable and hence had to be deleted from the video.

kps raju are you criticising yourself or tai? Well, if you are doing the prior, it’s your lack of core or spine or whatever. We usually hear by our ears and then learn by heart and mind.
