Karpenter: powerful and light weight tool that can installed using a helm chart on your worker nodes running in eks. But it needs atleast two default nodes to run from there after based on load it will increase worker nodes ( you can configure this as well). And reduce them whenever there is no load. If you ask me what is the difference Aws autoscaling and this. I would say that karpenter can launch and delete nodes in fraction of seconds( client will be more happier person here). Whereas AWS autoscaling works like auto rickshaw(2G may be).

Can we create a EKS cluster without Master Node?? and she cleared the interview(No offense). I am bit confused can any one clarify on it.
@raviteja568719 күн бұрын
EKS means Elastic kubernetes service, in which master node complete configuration is from AWS side, you simply need to join your ec2 nodes and form a cluster with them. On that nodes from scartch like dns and ebs drivers, aws ingress controller can be installed and make it ready for your application to be deployed and run. There will be no master node in eks only worker nodes. Master node is running behind and managed by AWS completely. That’s why they charge you for using eks clusters in AWS, same thing azure called as AKS. Google has kubernetes engine. GKE. Most of the organization’s use them.

@praveen, can I get the resume of Priyanka for the reference, so that I can also make a similar kind of intro pitch replica. actually I wanted to switch my career from support to devops but getting very confused what to mention in resume as a 5 years experience guy in devops. Current as such I don't have any working experience as a devops engineer but I am having good understanding of each and every basic and important devops tools and also I have secured a CKA certificate. If you have any suggestions for me, then please guide. Thankyou in advance
