We're back in the dark, Steampunk, zombie-infested world of They Are Billions! This game may be a few years old now, but it's still a blast! For this run, I'm going to push myself with a max difficulty Dark Moorland map. That means maximum infected, limited building space, loads of useful chokepoints, and only 73 days before the final wave hits. Can we survive?

Honestly, the fact that you talk through the thought process of your strategy (even if every now and then it's faulty because you missed some information) is part of why I enjoy watching you over others. It's more entertaining to watch than seeing "tutorials are evil, I'll show my gamer cred by figuring it all out on my own" types who then stumble through the game having no idea what they're doing and fault the game for not explaining anything or lacking features that the game actually has. It helps me better understand what I'm watching when people can rationalize what they're doing and why while playing. They don't need to be experts, but watching folks do seemingly random things, hoping for a good result, and seemingly not paying attention to any of the information the game provides (or just stopping to look around to see if the answer to their question exists somewhere for more than 1 second) isn't entertaining to me.

You might enjoy the content of KenseiTV (on YT and Twitch). He usually plays hard maps on 900% difficulty, but often explains why he does things or answers questions from his chat on how and why something might be better than something else. I don't play the game, but he at least gave me the idea I know how I should play the game.

Love this game, I’m pretty sure you can change the control settings to WASD in the settings option, same for F4 on grid, middle mouse button did it for me I think. But it has been months since I’ve played it

Hey Pravus, If you go into control settings and then keyboard layout you can change the camera from arrows to wasd.

Hi Pravus, I'm a new viewer and I'm enjoying the video so far. FYI in the settings under controls there is an option labeled laptop mode that makes the camera move with WSAD. Hope it helps!

just to top off on the other comments, even watching uThermal was play was painful. 80% of the time just randomly placing houses and what not, then 10% reading comments for help but not focusing on the why . in short, almost if not all the TABillions, gamers are just scattered focus or even lack of, and somehow seeing them play like a ADHD. no need to explain why, for most im good at viewing, but in terms of logic, they explained, roughly and did the same mistake over and over again. its like most are playing for views, and not even for fun. layer and layer of walling, wasted , and even after expanding, just left the initial first layer of walls in...... again, its like any pro gamer playing this, suddenly has zero comprehension of logic .... at least BeastyQT in the past didnt annoy in the least bit once he gotten the hang of it. watching you play.... so good... relieves me of ,. the [ wtf ? why you build all over and not keep it neat and clean for that optimal spacing ? Try hard ? then why bother streaming in the first place ? ]

9:30 I feel about the same. I'm pretty decent at this game, and can theoretically beat 900% and even 800%, which is without a doubt way more difficult than 900%, with a decent map. On the other hand sometimes I pull a mutant on day 3 by having my soldier defend the command center. This game can be really unforgiving sometimes. I couldn't imagine doing no-pause at all. I'll most certainly be following your series, more TAB content is always good. Any considerations for playing through the campaign and/or custom scenarios in the future aswell? I'll put a suggestion for the 28/29 years later campaign on the workshop here in case you're ever looking for something a little different, I enjoyed that one a fair bit.
