God resists the proud but gives His mercy and blessings to the humble. Thank you for this message. A famous person said “an unexamined life is not worth living” (author unknown). The enemy of our souls sometimes he thinks he has us down for the count. Not true…As I have gone to work many times in the ER, you get to meet the victims of Satan. People who have suffered intolerable abuse and oppression. In Christ we “more than conquerors” (Bible, Romans) all that we have to do is stand on God’s Word no matter what Satan throws at us. “The Word of God became flesh and dwelt among us” (Bible). “With the bricks and rocks they throw at us, God builds our castle” (Author unknown) we win in Christ because He will have the last word. When the proud act proudly it always backfires. God hates pride. Satan lost that war with God when God put him out….. the enemy was deceptive with God; God saw through him… Thank you for your humility😊 “we are more than conquerors” (Bible).

Wow praise God what a blessed surprise but not really surprised 2 see Joey Diaz who I spoke 2 back in the early 80’s about playing Vibraphone 4 Brooklyn Tabernacle, I’m not sure he remembers me, but I remember him n his lovely sister, n I often wondered how my friends from Flatbush Ave. we’re doing, what pastor Diaz said is exactly how I felt when I walked through those doors,,I felt Jesus Spirit n love I never experienced b4, n sorry I moved 2 Pa. cuz I haven’t found the same fellowship like the BT anywhere n I traveled with the Teen Challenge choir 2 different States over the course of a year singing testifying n playing music, so now I’m still praying n looking 4 where God wants me 2 worship,,,good 2 see one of my friends from Flatbush Ave.😇💞😇

I really needed this today thank you so much for sharing this sermon with me. Been going through some depression and some family issues but hearing the sermon gives me hope. I had listened to the first sermon/Devotional on Galatians this morning and then came the sermon I’m so grateful I’m going to ask this morning for Jesus to come in and help me with the issues that I’m going through.
