I have been through it pretty much my entire life my dear. Since I was thirteen tragedies unravelled year after year, I'm now 38 and after many spiritual retreats, pilgrimages, and decades of prayers, it has diluted a lot. Priests sometimes don't know how to help also. The most important solutions are the simplest ones: Daily prayer, sacramentals (medals, holy water, little prayers, holy salt, holy oil) sacraments (confession, baptism, etc) and simple steps. Always hopeful in the Lord, carrying it all through His cross, and eating sleeping and parting healthy. Always happy ini the holy spirit and pushing through. In recent times, I have learnt that we can build virtues through situations like this as they test us and draw us closer to God. Also, can you change the focus of your prayer point to be that God will strengthen you and grant you more patience, while also working on your husband? And also that God engineers things in a way that will make your husband realise why he needs to change and treat his family better. I’m from a very small town in El Salvador. I remember when I was little my mom was petrified that this man she saw that looked evil placed a curse on me with his eyes. She took me to some healer lady that rubbed hot eggs all over my body to cleanse me. This popped up on my feed as I’ve been asking God to open my heart in Jesus name.
