Hello all and so you can’t tell by my picture but I am actually a MALE. Now I knew of the concept of a “Prayer Bible” for a while now. But this is a whole new concept and I’m so glad my wife found these videos. And I’m just wondering why there are no Men doing this? This is SUCH A GREAT IDEA!!! doing it this way it really allows one to express creativity and make it fun!!!! And not just dull ya know? And I feel that there are ways for a Man to put a Godly Man spin on this. Example I’m using solid patterns and solid colors washi tape and using tabs and I bought a leather bound ESV Bible Brown in color. So I don’t think Men should shy away from this but let’s Join in and make it our own :) Also thanks to these AMAZING videos my wife is doing this now,me and now my Son Noah wants a Prayer Bible 😊 Great Videos!!!

Subbed. I identify with you talking about anxiety. Watched a lot of these prayer Bible videos, but didn't know how to start. Then one morning woke up filled with anxiety & was inspired to find verses relating. Now have about 50 verses to start with, lol. Just creating it, is a joy. I found a beautiful teal compact bible in large print that's perfect for me, same publisher.

@brigette3004 there are no rules on praying, though Jesus gave guidelines. But when you talk to God, just talk. I talk to Him all the time as if He were a friend listening to me. Well He is! I used to be intimidated by the ladies at church women’s group and their lonnnng wordy, eloquent prayers because that’s not how God and I talk to each other. God will talk to each of us in different ways, and WE pray and talk to HIM in unique ways as well. And through that intimidation, I NEVER prayed aloud in front of others. Now, I just don’t really care what anyone thinks about MY relationship with God, or how I sound while praying aloud. Please just Talk to Him. Don’t worry about all the “rules” or how others think it should sound like, or how you were conditioned to think it should sound like. The God I worship loves us whether we are great orators or not. Blessings to you, and may God help you realize that even your thoughts to him are prayers and He listens to ALL of us. ❤

I love the idea of a compact Bible so it’s easier to bring along. But, I do have vision problems. But, I’ve seen some compact bibles with larger print, still smaller than some, but they are available. But, I thinking of getting a page magnifier, they’ve been around for years. I’m sure you can get them in different sizes.

The gel highlighters don't bleed when you first use them, but be aware that they do bleed over time. I haven't used Mr. Pen specifically but after a couple of months, with the ones I've tried, the wax and color eventually bled all the way through. I threw out two Bibles because they became unreadable.

I have very recently had a horrible situation happen and am trying to cope. I'm hoping one of these may help. My grown children received a call from a detective in another state asking for next of kin. The detective told me my brother was homeless and was killed. My brothers kids live near him. I am lost, I am shocked, I am devastated. I just don't know how to get through this, it was just 3 weeks ago. I'm trying and I am lost. I'm hoping something like this may help my grief. Thank you.

Hello! Something I learned through doing this. The small print on this Bible I was able to see ok during the day but early morning while I pray I have a heard time reading this small text. I ended up with a large print Bible. They do make compact large print bibles but I choose a 6x9 slim line Bible. It is bigger but still very light weight. I hope this helps you
