Just LUV your collection. My attention was caught right away with Lubriciana. A hardware store had some plants for sale near cash register and this one caught my attention as l was checking out for nails and screws. It was 2 feet tall and was reduced from $49.95 to 19.95 and l grab it! After 5 months l realized that l could split them into two plants after they grew from 24" to 30-31" tall. l just bought a second called Freddie and was $16.99 with height of 8-9" tall at a nursery. l bow down to you and say a little prayer to U .

Beautiful collection! I'm slowly trying my hand again at these plants (calatheas specifically) because they're just so stunning. What I have had success with that didn't die the first go around was the Freddy, rattlesnake, and beauty star varieties

Yes!💚 They can grow quite large. Especially the ctenanthes. I've seen them grow quite big in one botanical gardens here in Lithuania 😄

Yea, I have been growing them indoors with humidifier. Sadly, they got spidermites and I had to cut back. So now, they are not as big as they were before (I was also keeping them closely to each other) 😔 but it's part of the plant journey as long as they are alive and growing healthy and steady now I am good 😊

The prayer plants are one of my favorite two I was wondering you said you don't use grow lights and you use distilled water but how do you get them so big they're beautiful and very expensive so I don't want to lose them I do have the calicia rabbit's foot and it's big and beautiful just keeps growing every day

I don't use grow lights directly to them because I noticed they tend to curl their leaves. I use grow lights for my other plants and prayer plants just get a lesser light from the grow light. I also use fertiliser every time I water them, but I dilute it to ½ or ¼ strength. My prayer plants are not perfect 😊 they do have brown spots too. And at the moment, I am battling with spidermites. I noticed that they do attract spidermites more than others and they do suffer quite a bit from them. I have already cut down 2 prayer plants to a stump.

She grow them under glowlight and plenty of humidity. That's all they need and low dose of fertilizer in spring.

I am just using a soil that I bought from a big box store - Premium is the brand and I add perlite (the amount would differe depending on the plant). And for the fertiliser, I use Agrecol 😊
