You can tell that this guy was a good man, a family man, and cared about ppl. His kids will grow up without a father b/c of a thug who already had open cases. This officer did not deserve this. My heart goes out to his wife, kids, friends, and family; especially his parents as well. RIP Officer Fayez.

I’m sorry for your loss. But he was an NYPD officer and should have known better not meet a stranger in a bad neighborhood. Just because you are a cop and allowed to carry a weapon doesn’t guarantee you will be safe.
