The Holy Spirit (though He lives inside each of God's children) visited me one night awakening me from sleep. There was a noise that sounded like flapping wings and the wind. As I sat up I noticed burnished red glows that lit up the left side of the room. Then this peace and joy shot through my heart and I was no longer sadden. Then the glows faded away. Earlier I had been crying out to my Father about my pain of missing my Mom who had gone on to glory many years ago. We were very close. God is a great comfort to His children.💝

Sarah Stewart He is if we allow Him to be through prayer and silent meditation.God is always very close to us.But He does not force Himself on us.But waits for us to call Him to make Himself visible to us through the eyes of our hearts. I had lost my Mom a short time ago.The enormity of this loss of both parents was gradually allowed to sink in.I had disappointed and hurt my Mom in the bad decisions of my life.I know she had forgiven me,before she was called away from this life by the Lord to be with Him forever. This poem came to me from God and my Mom; as I sat with my wonderful sister and priest before the start of my Mom's funeral service.I now share this with you. "The Lord beckoned and smiling she answered His unspoken call. Into His warm and loving embrace she remembered her faults. He gently rebuked her they were long ago forgiven and forgotten. And she must now live the life of heaven. She asked what of those she love left behind. He answered " They must seek My Presence in a life of love and forgiveness. And at the end of their days they too will see Me in heaven." He then gently led her forward by the hand to meet those unknown and known gone before.They too are no longer bowed down by age,infirmity and sorrow. But have been renewed,restored and transformed by the wonderful power of His Great Love.
