Thank you for such inspiring words, I believe we are in unprecedented times within the Lord and we need to challenge ourselves to grow in him. You share the word in such a way that we can follow the meaning of the words. I pray each day for myself, for our church and our leaders. Hoping that we will see a change, but either way I know nothing will happen that God has not allowed, if the world rejects then I know that my eternal home is not long or far away... we keep running the race, to do our part and thank the Lord for yesterday, today and in the tomorrow. Walking by faith not by sight. Bless you for sharing.

I think I was caught off guard by this apparent non abstraction

This teaching hurts as it takes me back to a place where I used to live. A place where I gave myself to fornication, a time when I change from natural relations to unnatural ones. What I didn't have in any of those relationships was love. I realize now how much it must have pained God to watch me live like that. I don't like going back there because of the hurt that it brings to my heart since I've been born again. Yet I feel that I have to listen so that I don't go back there. Back to where things were easy and there was no commitment.

Brother Randy, so glad that I can call you brother even though I don't know you. But we belong to The Father through His Son, Jesus Christ. I'm thankful you expose yourself to things that remind you of that painful period in your life. I too have my own painful period in which I went my own way - different, but still sin. But, as a prodigal, God had me in His hands and brought me back in His time. I'm still being chastened but I know it's because He loves me. And I know it's so I'll never go back. I'm so thankful He loves us. I pray you rest in Him.

@@shanelanders9735 thank you for that. Sometimes I still beat myself up over it it's nice to know that someone else does the same. I expose myself for one reason and one reason only. That reason is so that if just one person reads it and doesn't take the road I took then my life was not a loss. I have printed copies of my testimony I hand them out like candy for the same reason. To give the glory to God and stop one other person from taking the road I took. To help them realize before they take that road it's going to be a dead end. I would like to thank you for sharing with me that you were on a similar road. That is what I like about Christians. They don't judge you they are just glad that you changed from your evil ways. And I am happy to call you a brother in Christ for you surely are or you wouldn't have taken the time to tell me what you did. Love you brother may God bless you
