Prayer When You're Tired of Waiting On God's Promises

Hello all! The week before last week was rough. However last week I got a breakthrough. I am being vague because it is still unfolding. Please respect God's timing and His way. Walking with God is not for the faint-hearted. Believe me I went through it. The pruning process hurts.

May God bring your hopes to pass, in Jesus Name! You're going through something similar to me but my breakthrough seems hazy... But goodness me that pruning HURTS soooo much! I pray the Lord would open the doors in Jesus' Name.

This prayer came at the perfect time: a time where I need direction and clarity and yes, courage to wait. I've been on a journey since January and I admit it has gotten to a place I've almost given up. But this prayer is part of a process of confirmation that God is still on my matter and is faithful to complete it! Thanks for yielding to the Lord and edifying and encouraging many of us who were just about to throw the towel in and give up. God bless you, Sis Dephne! And I pray all those who wait on God will return with a testimony soon!

​​@@sifasanigowonHello beautiful! We all have an alloted time in the wilderness given by God. I pray that God give you the grace to endure it. The wilderness season preps us for the next open door. God gives us opportunities so we can maintain it. Not lose it. How are we going to maintain our blessing, if we can't pass the wilderness season? God is sovereign. He is not going to give us something before we are ready. We can prolong our wilderness season due to disobedience or repeatedly failing His tests. It was some character flaws in me that needed to be uprooted. To be honest cringworthy. I couldn't take that mess into the next level. Also, trials will still come with exit of the wilderness. Look at the life of David, Daniel, Paul and Joshua. Don't be shocked by persecution. I pray that God gives you supernatural strength and obedience so that you can learn and grow in your wilderness season.

I was preaching a similar message of being still and waiting upon the LORD and my main scripture was Psalms 37 verse 7 which states: Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes. Be encouraged by this scripture children of God.
