idk why people are so surprised that there's a thriving Latino/Native goth subculture, I mean we are a super dramatic people and we have always explored, celebrated, and honored the darker side of things.

The people complaining about his voice obviously don't listen to Goth music much. Strained, lilting, high-pitched vocals and/or deep baritone droning are staples of Goth Rock and its related genres. His voice very much reminds me of Rozz Williams from Christian Death mixed with simplistic Darkwave or Coldwave instrumentation. Highly inventive, definitely goth, and surprisingly awesome besides.

Play "Black Leather" on Apple Music "Black Leather" No cross to burn, broken glass on the floor, I'm shedding my skin, {I'm letting go.} Just like the seasons people come and go, Just like the seasons {people come and go.} My blade is kind, my hand is cold, Approach me with caution 'cause I'm losing control. {Black leather possesses my soul, Black leather possesses my soul...} (Possesses my soul...) I've dragged these bones across the floor, My body resembles a broken home. Touched by the light deceived by a dream I walk in the shadows just to be seen, I walk in the shadows just to be seen, I walk in the shadows just to be seen. The sinner in me Has a card up his sleeve, Wondering eyes unable to see. Unable to see, unable to see Unable to see the forest for the trees. I'm counting my blessings, I'm shedding my skin. Let my ashes dance with the wind. I'm counting my blessings, I'm shedding my skin. Let my ashes dance with the wind. No cross to burn, broken glass on the floor, I'm shedding my skin, I'm letting go. {Just like the seasons people come and go, Just like the seasons people come and go.} My blade is kind, my hand is cold, Approach me with caution 'cause I'm losing control. {Black leather possesses my soul, Black leather possesses my soul...} (Possesses my soul...) Beat/instrumentals and lyrics are top notch. Great 80s synch pop mood and dance; I love it: If lead vocals can learn to control and own his range, sounds nasal dominant, that would be my constructive critic; would also help him for the live shows. Kats vocals are on point; can hear the years of coaching behind them. *top notch* The producer(s) could of mixed the leads to middle-semi front of the instrumentals tho, right here they sound middle-behind of instrumentals. Not full frontal so that it covers the sounds. When alone the backup vocals are in perfect position, middle- semi front, they sound much crisper and "alive" compared to the leads m, however, both get lost when together. Thumbs up tho; and keep popping out these sounds and lyrics!

+Puddulz Agree fully. I like that they're rolling with the goth scene and I appreciate the different perspective, but reigning in the vocals could make this brilliant. Very nasal, very jarring. Sometimes that can work, but I don't think it fits here or with any of their sounds thus far.

This song is very dope. I wish it would have had a better arrangement. Im thinking a guitar solo with the drums playing a bit more cause the groove is killer. It totally has that modern 80's electro drum vibe. Roland 808 all the way. I would have compressed the vocal a bit harder too and warmed it up with a LA2A and changed that reverb. .... I will buy this track and support them either way. Can't wait for the EP to drop. Great work Prayers.
