Thank you Pastor Clancy for this teaching about praying for our city. There are so many things that the body of Christ should be praying about but instead we spent precious time speaking negative words over the situation. Or our prayers are all about ourselves our wants and needs this is not effective prayer. All believers are called to prayer for their government 1 Timothy 2:2 and 2 Chron. 7: 14 , Roman 13:1 and many others. Perhaps we don't know our obligation therefore we are ignorant of the importance of such a heavenly assignment and God's sure promise in his word Psalms 2:8. Beloved brothers and sisters in Christ take God at his word take the challenge to prayer for your city, nation, island, continent etc and the rest of the world. Consequently as you have prayed believing just stand and see what an Almighty, All powerful God can and will do at the entrance of your word into the court room of heaven. Take the challenge and report the change and give glory to God.
