You have a really impressive capsule wardrobe. A lot of really good basics that go together so well. Any season.

So many great me made outfits! If I have to choose one, I guess the Canadian Tuxedo, since I'm Canadian....

Thank you! I really like that one too :)

Thanks for showing how you choose shoes to style your outfits! As someone who spends a lot of time in trail runners and Crocs, I always struggle to come up with shoes to wear with my new me made outfits. I wear my linen pants with Crocs a lot, but it would be great to have some nicer shoes. I do need shoes with a good arch support.

I’m glad you enjoyed it :) I feel like shoes are usually something I don’t buy…keeping them until they fall apart haha. I think if I were to buy one new pair it would be loafers…sometimes I don’t feel dressed up enough in my boots and walking shoes.

You mentioned that wool is less comfortable for sweaters. What do you normally use for knitting sweaters? I just started knitting hats but will be trying a sweater soon. I have only used merino wool. I like natural fibers, but yes, wool can be a bit itchy. I did order a sweater kit from Wooly Thistle and the yarn is beautiful but really scratchy for my skin (fiber not specified other than its wool).

I actually find that some wools are comfortable on me next to skin and some are not. The blue tank is made from cascade 220 and it’s comfortable to me, but the v neck vest is a bit itchy and I’ll probably wear it with a top underneath.

Watching your content backwards. 😅 Such a great style, love the gender fluid and practical approach with real materials. Working on my own knits while watching. One day only wearing own makes is a big goal of mine as well. I just don’t feel like myself with store bought clothes anymore.

Wow , amazing outfits, I’m going to try a champagne cardigan , if only for the name .What pattern did you use for the patch denim please ? Must try black and blue .

Thanks! The champagne cardigan was a really fun project :) for the patchwork denim jacket I used the modern sewing company over shirt pattern, just added some length to the body. I think four inches.

Do you ever check out Margaret Howell's collections? Your taste reminds me of her quite a bit.

Just checked out her website, I definitely like the style of her garments! Also she states there that she started making clothing for men and then found out that women wanted them…which I can very much relate to. I love well tailored, oversized and relaxed fits. Thank you for the recommendation I have lots of inspiration to explore now :)
