Unfortunately Barbados does not have any rivers; when I was a boy growing up, we had a small one called Indian River but as time went on the island developed and because we did not have a port for cargo ships to dock, the Deep Water Harbor/Bridgetown Port was constructed. After that harbor was built, the river disappeared; the land was reclaimed to build the highway adjacent to the Port. You folks in Guyana are fortunate to have these rivers which can be used recreationally in addition to being a food source. It would be nice to have small cruise boats like a catamaran on those waters sailing on full moon nights. We have catamarans that are used mostly for tourists but locals rent them also. We sail them up and down our west coast but that is out in the ocean. There are times where the ocean is choppy and the ride can be a bit discomfiting unless of course one is a sea hawk. I am thinking that because it is a river it would be highly unlikely to have any kind of rough tide so that the ride would be a pleasant and relaxing one; especially on full moon nights. I think the government could consider something like this; they would just need to construct a docking area to facilitate embarking and disembarking. Maybe you all are already into these river cruises and I am late to the party. I am aware of your water taxis to accommodate travel to certain areas of the interior but I was focused primarily on recreation to enhance not just locals but your tourism product. There is a plan by your government to expand the tourism product and if you are not yet into river cruises by catamaran, I really think your government should at least consider it.

I been calling on the authorities to build ramps across Guyana to facilitate launching of boats but none were built as yet. Hopefully they do soon.

Hey ARD, perhaps you should try wearing it backward. Maybe a little difficult to do and awkward, but based on your analysis, in the wider scheme of things, your face will be upward and not downward.

I am a supporter of this channel but sadly this guy don’t have sympathy for the vendors who was beaten and robbed at the same MonRepo market where he visited often. This video air the day after all that devastating ordeal. Staying silent is the worst thing you can do again violence.

Do you realise his videos are filmed and edited days or 2 weeks before he releases it on here.Stop trying to look for an issue when there isn't any. Also how do you know if he didn't reach out to those affected?...you need to look at yourself in the mirror and stop judging people.
