Pre-grading an Intersection

I'm in awe. I haven't worked in earthmoving for some time, and never got learn these techniques but I always wanted to achieve this sort of proficency on a grader. I have recently discovered your channel and have been absolutely taken by the content. I notice that this type of construction is pre- Lazer/GPS grade control. In short, old school like from my Grandfather's era. I learnt to operate in the early 1990's. Much of what you show wasn't in use here in Australia when I was doing construction. I left the industry, just before I learnt how to use lazer leveling and so am only good for grading on a basic level. Please continue to make more video's like these, showing set up, blade and machine positioning, tips on how to tackle jobs. I would have loved to have been mentored by you. Nice to hear from Australia. Regarding your comment on GPS grading control: "SG" the company that I work with, here in Alberta, is switching over to GPS, but it is not an easy transition. Thank you for watching my videos, and I appreciate the compliments.
