Pre-London Marathon at Victoria Dock parkrun: Huge Turnout and Personal Bests Galore

Welcome to Victoria Dock parkrun, one of the flattest and fastest parkruns in the country! In this video, we bring you footage from a particularly exciting event that took place just before the London Marathon. There was a huge number of participants, all eager to test their fitness and speed on this scenic 5k course.
From the start line at the Royal Victoria Dock, runners made their way along the water's edge, passing through the vibrant ExCeL Centre and around the picturesque docklands. The atmosphere was electric, with cheers and encouragement ringing out from spectators and fellow parkrunners alike.
Despite the large crowds, the course was well marshalled and managed, with plenty of room for runners to find their rhythm and push themselves to their limits. And with such a flat and fast course, it's no surprise that many runners achieved personal best times on the day!

Our local, Bideford is a six lapper during the winter - lightining fast, but it's a good thing for GPS as I'd almost defintely lose count of the laps without it! Hope your marathon went well!

Saw you there but didn’t get a chance to say hi - I was in the green helsby top at 00:53 with my other half! Well done on LDN, I went sub-3 as well but not quite as smoothly as you did haha!

Hi Ashling - thanks for watching. 99% of the time zero negative comments - but plenty of conversations from interested people, or fellow vegans who have never heard of the lcub and want to join!
