One thing I would add is to expect your location to be turned off on ForeFlight. I do this will all my students. That way, they can demonstrate that they can navigate our busy Denver airspace to and from the practice areas without using a crutch.

Why not let them use all available resources? Isn’t that what you were taught in ground school.
