Preacher claims October 7 was an ‘act of resistance’ at Lakemba rally

A preacher at a pro-Palestine rally has claimed October 7 was an “act of resistance” as about 1,000 people gathered at a mosque in Lakemba, Sydney, according to Sky News Senior Reporter Kenny Heatley.
“The rhetoric considered most offensive, particularly to the Jewish community, is that one of the speakers on the microphone said that ‘October 7 was an act of resistance’, clearly a denial there that it was a terrorist attack by a terrorist organisation,” Mr Heatley said.
Mr Heatley added the rally was peaceful but significant police supervision was present.
